Myths and Mountains 2008 Catalog

Barbara Kipper's photography will once again grace the cover and several inside spreads of Nevada-based adventure travel company Myths and Mountains' 2008 catalog. Myths and Mountains is an adventure travel company that takes travelers inside the cultures and lives of people inside countries in which they work and gives back to those people through non-profit activities. Itineraries focus on culture and crafts, the environment and how people interact with it, religions and pilgrimage sites, and traditional medicines and natural healing. The company's specialty is customizing programs for individuals, small groups, museums and universities, as well as offering unique group trips. Corporate responsibility focuses on rural development, building non-profit library community centers and pairing them with for-profit businesses.

The 2008 catalog cover photo was taken on a past Myths and Mountains trip to the Bastar region of India. Barbara's photography was also used for the cover of Myths and Mountains' 2007 catalog. "I am honored that a company I hold in such high esteem would consider my work to represent them on multiple occasions," Barbara said.
