Next Show Slated for 2007 at FLATFILEGalleries

Barbara recently signed a contract for a two month show in 2007 at Chicago's FLATFILEGalleries. The show is titled Two Women/Wide World and will run from June 22nd through August 17th. Barbara's Photos Chosen for Joffrey book


Several of Barbara's photos from the Joffrey performances of Ruth: Ricordi Per Due, Apollo, and Clowns have been chosen for a two-page spread in The Joffrey Ballet's 50th anniversary commemorative hardcover book, The Joffrey Ballet: An American Classic.

"I feel in photographing dance the photographer has a special responsibility not only to capture each unique moment within the performance, but to visually respect the essence of the dancers' artistry as well. So much intense training goes into a dancer becoming an artist that I feel it is incumbent upon me to present accurately the culmination of years of training," Barbara said.
